We have listened to the feedback and wishes of our STARFACE partners and are returning to the Europa-Park Rust. This year, the ‘STARFACE Kongress’ is reserved exclusively for all STARFACE partners and sponsors as an industry get-together. As always, participation is free of charge for every STARFACE partner.
After our 2020 congress unfortunately had to be cancelled due to a pandemic, our priority this year is a safe event for all participants. The ‘STARFACE Kongress’ will comply with all the guidelines in force in October. What these will be in detail has of course not yet been conclusively defined. But STARFACE is currently working with a professional hygiene officer to draw up a comprehensive security concept with protective measures and descriptions of protective objectives in order to ensure a very high level of security for our event for all participants.
We will only hold the ‘STARFACE Kongress’ if the authorities and the legal situation allow this type of event in October. There will be no hybrid solutions (for example with online parts). The motto is: Live on site or not at all! That’s why the planning is being done in such a way that the cost risk for all participants is as low as possible. For example, the hotel rooms that can be booked via the STARFACE contingent can be cancelled free of charge up to three working days before the event. We therefore advise you to reserve hotel rooms, as the demand for rooms in the vicinity of the Europa Park is currently rising sharply.
Another part of the hygiene concept is the ‘STARFACE Kongress’ app, which we will offer for download in the coming weeks. This will be used for registration and all data tracking.
We will inform you in good time about the exact access requirements. The German ‘3G’ regulation (vaccinated, recovered or tested) will certainly apply. It remains to be seen whether masks will be compulsory and what distance rules we will have to observe. The number of participants can of course also be restricted by the authorities at any time. Therefore, we recommend early registration as soon as the ‘STARFACE Kongress’ app is available.
