Gamma Group Announces New Leadership Team for Germany

Overview of the New Responsibilities

The newly expanded management structure brings together key positions from Gamma, STARFACE, and estos to strengthen collaboration and drive a unified, strategic approach for growth in the DACH region.

Here’s an overview of the newly assigned roles:

  • Florian Buzin: The CEO of STARFACE expands his role, taking on the position of Managing Director for Gamma Communications in Germany, in addition to his current responsibilities within the STARFACE Group.
  • Andreas Hampel: A seasoned NGN-SIP expert and long-time managing director of HFO Telecom returns to the group as Managing Director of Gamma Communications GmbH. He will oversee SIP and NGN operations moving forward.
  • Christoph Scheuermann: The head of STARFACE Product Management is now joining the STARFACE Group’s executive management team as Managing Director of Product Management, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Alexander Seyferth: The CEO of estos will now take on the additional role of Managing Director responsible for Sales, Customer Care/Customer Success, and the Academy within the STARFACE Group.
  • Thomas Weiß: The CTO of STARFACE will continue in his role as Managing Director, responsible for Development, Quality Assurance, Operating System Deployment, and Corporate IT.
  • Gerben Wijbenga: As Managing Director of Gamma Europe, Wijbenga will expand his role to coordinate all operations in DACH, Benelux, and future growth into Spain.

Continuity remains a key factor for success: Existing leaders such as Peter Nowack (Placetel) and Dimitrios Nikolaidis (Epsilon Telecom) will retain their current roles.

Meanwhile, STARFACE COO Jürgen Signer will retire in May 2025—a transition planned well in advance and unrelated to the Gamma acquisition.

Looking Ahead

This new team creates a framework centered around agility and synergies. With clearly defined areas of focus, the organization is poised for forward-looking innovations, tighter integration of partner networks, and enhanced customer centricity. Overall, this realignment ensures seamless collaboration within the organization, leveraging internal strengths while aligning perfectly with partner and customer needs.

The strengthened leadership team represents not just a logical evolution but also a clear commitment by Gamma and STARFACE to sustainable growth and reliability. With experienced leaders at the helm, closer collaboration between brands, and a focused strategy, it’s clear that ambitious goals are being actively pursued—not merely stated. Further details and statements from the new leadership team can be found in today’s press release.
