Europa-Park Rust as a Stage for Business Innovation
Over two days, the Confertainment Center at Europa-Park delivered everything you expect from an industry gathering: a large stage in the Dome for keynotes, quiet workshop rooms for absorbing information, and a huge exhibition area where 37 exhibitors presented this year. From long-standing partners and specialized providers to young companies bringing fresh ideas into the STARFACE ecosystem, it was all there.
Trade Fair Highlights – from telephones to AI-powered voice solutions
The variety of solutions presented was impressive and reflects the current transformation in communication technology:
⦁ Hardware: Desk phones, DECT headsets, door opener and alarm server solutions for specific industry requirements
⦁ Unified Communications: Enhanced STARFACE modules, integrations into Microsoft Teams, web clients, and mobile apps
⦁ AI innovations: ChatGPT-based support chats, voice bots for automated conversations, and intelligent routing systems that direct inquiries based on context and customer data

Sharing knowledge, hacking solutions
There would be no Com.vention without the traditional HACKATHON! Here, teams made up of participants demonstrate how the STARFACE telephone system can be used to create added value of a different kind. STARFACE engineers were also on hand, exchanging ideas with participants in a relaxed atmosphere. The results of the 2025 HACKATHON ranged from phone-controlled “Rock, Paper, Scissors” with the entire audience to text adventures experienced over the phone via AI integration.
The winning team was once again chosen by audience vote on the Com.vention stage and rewarded with great prizes. The workshops in the Confertainment Center also proved once more that learning through direct dialogue is unbeatable. Here, participants could dive deep into the latest products presented by exhibitors.
